About MAGWeb

Metro Area Government Webmasters (MAGWeb) is a non-profit organization of Kansas City area local government Web professionals.

Founded in September of 2000, MAGWeb's primary goal is to facilitate professional and educational development among its members and to help local governments better utilize Internet technologies in achieving public-sector goals. It seeks to increase knowledge, understanding and technical proficiency among public-sector employees who generate Internet technology, protocols and applications.

MAGWeb provides:

Networking opportunities
Information sharing
Training opportunities

In addition, MAGWeb members are given a regular forum for discussion of relevant issues involving public-sector Internet/intranet technologies.
