MAGWeb is made up primarily of persons who help to manage Web sites for Kansas City area city and county governments. However, our membership has expanded to outlying communities as well.
While budgets of large cities may allow for professional staffs to work on Web projects, smaller cities may need to utilize public information or even administrative staff to keep their sites online. At MAGWeb, everyone is welcome regardless of experience level or jurisdiction size.
Our Objectives
- To maintain MAGWeb's status as a governmental organization for Web professionals
- To provide an exchange platform for government Web professionals
- To develop a network of local government Web managers
- To allow all members the opportunity to participate in exchanges of ideas in their pursuit of Internet and intranet projects
