- Overland Park, KS: A new YouTown phone app is in development (http://www.dotgov.com/).
YouTown is an app-building company , and it’s free for governments
- City of Lawrence, KS: A JQuery-based transit mobile app is in development.
It works with several languages. Uses HTML5/CSS3. (http://lawrencetransit.heroku.com/)
Conference Share – Drupal (Presenter: Brett Williamson, Johnson County, Kansas)
- 4,000 people attended
- Federal government is a major user if Drupal
- Organic Groups: Group monitored communication
- Drupal 7 is the latest version; version 8 is being developed. See Brett’s attachment for what it includes
- Openpublicapp.com: A government version of Drupal; can use items
from other government sites
