PTI Conference Summary
Rich Lovett gave us a report of the annual PTI (Public Technology,
Inc.) conference held in Miami. His handout included updates on Web projects from cities around the country.
Rich is also spearheading a regional PTI Webmanagers forum for Oct. 2-3. MAGWeb will be of assistance in coming
up with topics for promotion, sessions, guest speakers, fun ideas for entertaining out-of-towners, etc. Hopefully
many of us will be able to attend as well. Stay tuned for more details…

know about getting robots to or keeping them away from your Web sites and pages.

A suggestion has been made for Web site marketing and promotion as a topic for May. In addition, we will devote
some time to planning the PTI regional forum mentioned above and to any other issues or topics the group would
like to discuss.
The meeting will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, at the MARC offices, 600 Broadway. Some folks usually do
lunch after the meeting. Let the group know if you'd like to join.
