Member Minute
- Susan Waters is working on implementing a new events management system.
- There was discussion on sunshine laws and record keeping.
- Nathan Smith mentioned that a .Net user group is starting. Next meeting is the second Tuesday of June in Leawood, Ks. Topic will be jQuery.
- Katherine Shaw uploaded an online employment application that utilizes SQL reporting services to eliminate paper applications. With 200-400 applicants per opening, this eliminates a great deal of paper.
- Sonya Fendorf mentioned some statistical research she compiled from her site. The #1 hit is job openings with about 4,000/month.
- David Eldridge is transitioning to ASP .Net from legacy systems.

Gruber discussed the hacking of his organization's web server. He is contemplating
switching from Redhat to Ubuntu and eliminating archaic web apps that may
be vulnerable.
