Issues with social media were discussed. Should departments be able to have their own Twitter, Facebook etc. accounts? A call for social media management plans was made.
Better Web Development
David Eldridge discussed benefits to building web sites based on standards.
Discussed need to address a site's accessibility. Accessibility is not for protection against lawsuits. It is to provide the same level of service to customers regardless of their method of consuming your content.
MAGWeb Site Redesign
Anthony Oropeza displayed mockups of site and logo. Discussion focused on banner and logo. Also discussed color-emotion relation.
