If you have any suggestions for or can help maintain the MAGWeb group site, please contact Rich Lovett, KCMO, rlovett@kcmo.org.
We can also share documents via the site, send him your RFPs, policies, ADA stuff, links, etc.
Marketing ideas for our Web sites
- Place domain name on anything you can think of! Fire trucks, snowplows, police cars, any city vehicle…employee's business cards, city letterhead, pamphlets, fliers, and newsletters.
- Take the time to register your site with several search engines.
- Use your alt tags! Robots index them.
- Mention Web site in your phone "on hold" messages.
- Window clings or bumper stickers for city vehicles.
- Mugs, stress balls, mouse pads

Next Meeting: Citizen request tracking and GIS mapping
Our next meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on Aug. 20 at the MARC offices. Chris Holdman from Olathe will demonstrate
their citizen requests tracking system. Guests from the City of Overland Park will share how the city created GIS
maps for the Web.
Barbara Hensley, MARC, will look into inviting a guest speaker from DST to help explain how digital signatures
work for our September meeting.
